Forester Kangaroos I got to see these wonderful Forester Kangaroos at Bonorong Wildlife Sanctuary near Hobart. Tamania only has one species of kangaroo and sadly they are now only found in isolated populations in central and north-eastern Tasmania. According to DPIPWE, by the 1960's the species was reduced to less than 15% of its range at the time of european settlement. History with a Twist I thoroughly enjoyed staying at RACV Hobart for 3 nights. There is a beautiful bar in the historical Cascade Brewery building, connected to a large modern hotel extension.
