Making a difference, transformation projects, design, nature and travel are my passions.
I specialise in managing cross-functional teams to design, develop and implement projects from concept to completion. I enjoy using my skills and experience to make a difference - designing, refining and optimising; products, services, processes and systems; to increase efficiency and positively impact people, animals and the environment.
For the last 10 years I've worked in non-profit management focused on animal welfare and wildlife preservation, implementing a wide range of major projects including a new rescue communications platform and overseeing multi-million dollar grants in the wake of the Black Summer fires. My deep appreciation for animals, nature and the environment has grown expotentially over that time, as has my concern for them. We face so many species and ecosystems at risk of extinction, unsustainable habitat loss for wildlife and unsustainable resource use across all sectors, increasing natural disasters of higher frequency and intensity, and other major risks for people and nature due to climate change.
I believe that sustainable business, travel, design and development are essential, to help deliver better outcomes for individuals and organisations, and they are increasingly key to the long-term protection and preservation of wildlife and the environment.
In the past, I've managed multi-million dollar portfolios for major brands and international clients, specialising in new product development for over a decade. I've completed a Bachelor of Commerce majoring in Marketing & Human Resource Management, Certificate IV in Design and am currently studying a Graduate Certificate in Environmental Management and Sustainability.
Outside of my wildlife work I enjoy tackling freelance design projects, nature photography and travelling as much as possible!
